I've always been impressed when I go to my wife, Denise's, blog and see how she weaves pictures into almost all of her blog posts. So I will try and do the same! Right now I am home to do a couple of shows, but later today I will make the trip back up to Windsor Mountain where the rest of the family is spending the month of July at the camp where Denise and I both work and where the kids are all campers.
Here's EJ spiffed up as a rock'n roller for one of the many skits the kids put on during the day.
Pipo is putting the finishing touches on his piggy bank in the arts and crafts shed.
Emma is getting herself strapped in for the amazingly exciting zip line through the tops of the tall white pines!
Margaret is getting down in limbo at the fourth of July carnival. Greggo from Australia is setting the bar pretty low.
Charlie slams a base hit to right field in a game against the counselors. The only problem at the camp is the plethora of Yankee fans to deal with on a daily basis:)
Tommy is hanging out making "cool neck-a-laces" on the deck with one of his many fans!
Me and the boys, from the left: Max, Geronimo, Maroghini, and me "jammin" (literally) in an impromptu concert.
Kaleigh is somewhere in Peru living with a Peruvian family for the month. This is her second summer going off on an international trip. Here is the trip blog. Pretty cool!
Denise is like the unofficial "Mom" to untold numbers of campers and the official photographer of the Fitz family!
All said: it's a pretty fun place to spend our summer time.
As it has for the past six years, our 31 year old Bluebird camper gets us there and gives us a home away from home wherever we want to go. This picture is from the Fischelis's farm in Vermont, which is our next destination after camp for the annual Vermontfest!
Now that was a nice little morning visit with coffe and the Fitzes! Looks like a great time is being had by all....as always in your summer-mode!
Can't wait to check in with Kaliegh's blog and see what things are like for her in Peru - what a great opportunity!
Where are you playing this weekend -- anywhere public/around here?!

Those are some fantastic pictures, Fitz, and in my own opinion they were weaved into the narration of your entry perfectly (a series of memories attached to memorable words, as always :) ). I've fully shifted into the Fitzblogs gear, have been commenting like mad, and I've posted some of the writing that I've been working on the past few weeks... as always, your comments would be appreciated. :)
Take care,
Ian

Those are great pictures. I can't wait to see Pipo again for the wrestling season. He's definitely a character. And also, sorry i've been away from the blogs for like the past week, but an essay is on the way and it's a good one! So, get ready :). Nice post!
